with an estimated fortune of US$106m.

In 2007, Azeem became the youngest member of the Bank of Scotland Asian Power 100. This list, produced by Carter Anderson, described him as one of the most influential and highest-achieving people in Britain. In the same year, Azeem entered the Observer Courvoisier Future 500 – a definitive list of the country ’s most forward-thinking and brightest young innovators.

Azeem’s wealth results from an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with an extensive knowledge
of the global markets. An outstanding academic scholar, Azeem read for a PhD at Cambridge University in International Economic Policy. Since then, he has gained a comprehensive understanding and passion for world markets that has made him one of
the most knowledgeable and skilled investment managers in the industry.

ECM Holdings, the parent company of ECM Bank, a private online bank specialising in commodity trading; ECM Asset Management, a Swedish-registered credit union building society; and ECM Clearing House, a Panamanian-registered financial clearing house licensed to trade in currencies, precious metals and commodities.
