Investment Strategy

Investment Manager and CEO Azeem Ibrahim uses his extensive macroeconomic knowledge to predict and profit from shifts in the market that result from economic, political, government, inter-government changes, and other broad systematic factors and related events.

To ensure absolute returns with low volatility, we also use financial derivatives to accentuate market movements and ensure low correlation to general market movements.

Diversification across many regions, strategies and financial instruments also minimises risk and secures the capital within the portfolio. In addition, we actively seek positions with limited downside risk and potentially large rewards.

This predominately short strategy is complemented by risk reduction strategies that also generate significant rates of return. With an extensive network of associates, our Investment Manager can tap into exclusive private-equity opportunities in emerging and developed markets. These include private-equity stakes in companies with exclusive commodities rights, or government or guaranteed contracts.

Our strategy is not limited by product, market or region. This freedom allows us to pursue opportunities with a compelling risk/reward trade-off. What is more, there are no restrictions on the Fund's investment objectives and policies, on the assets we invest in, or arrangements to which it may become a party.

Exceptional Service, Exceptional Results

The Fund is flexible by nature and the asset allocation may change depending on the markets and the opinions of the Investment Manager and his team. Unless the Investment Manager and team are confident that the return will be significant and the risk minimal, they will not place a trade.

Lack of opportunities to deliver returns will not pressure us to take on unacceptable levels of risk. The Fund will preserve its capital and allocate a higher percentage of assets to cash and equivalents. This flexibility is essential to the Fund's objective of generating consistent absolute returns and preserving capital.
